Inside the EsVive Hotel Bar by Cochrane Bespoke

Designing Mood Through Material and Form
In hospitality interiors, atmosphere is everything. It sets the tone for how people feel, interact, and remember a space.
At Cochrane Bespoke, we view joinery as more than a functional component, it’s a design language that guides light, sound, and emotion.
The EsVive Hotel bar is a prime example of how joinery can create atmosphere through form, finish, and proportion.
Working in collaboration with Cochrane Design, our team produced a full suite of bespoke elements that transform the bar into an experience.
The Power of Detail and Materiality
The structure combines dark panelling with curved metallic surfaces, designed to reflect the glow of integrated lighting.
Upholstered booths, rich in tone and texture, add intimacy, while the bar’s sculptural frame introduces a sense of weight and permanence.
Each material, from polished brass to deep-stained timber, was chosen for its tactile quality and its ability to interact with light.
Together, they create an environment that feels immersive and cohesive, where every detail has purpose and intent.
Precision That Shapes the Experience
Behind the scenes, precision detailing ensures every joint, hinge, and surface aligns perfectly.
This level of accuracy allows the atmosphere to feel effortless, even though it’s the result of careful coordination between design and manufacture.
Every line, curve, and finish was considered to maintain visual balance, proving that mood is as much about technical skill as it is about aesthetics.
Building Identity Through Joinery
Atmosphere doesn’t happen by accident; it’s built through proportion, contrast, and consistency.
The EsVive bar reflects this philosophy, showing how bespoke joinery can shape not only a room but the experience within it.
For hospitality environments, this approach helps create spaces that invite conversation and connection, interiors that feel distinctive and lasting.
